Every month we have a birthday party invitation for one of my kid's friends. And when it comes to shopping for a gift, I find myself spending way too much time trying to figure out what he or she will like. For this reason I decided to do some research and put together a list of recommended gifts that are $25 and under.
Babies R Us Stacking Cups: This is one of the best toys I've ever gotten my kids. It is so simple and affordable. To this day my two year old will play with them. Available at Toys R Us for $5.99. Recommended for ages 12 months+
Record-A-Voice Cell Phone: This toy cell phone comes in various colors. Parents can record up to three messages for their toddler and replay them just like our own phone. It also includes sounds and songs. Available at Target for $9.29. Recommended for ages 18 months+
B. Doctor Set Wee MD: My kids' doctor set never gets old. A few items in this 14 piece set includes a clipboard, reflex hammer, and a stethoscope with a heartbeat sound. It comes in a hard case. Available at Target for $21.99. Recommended for ages 18 months+
Chicco Radio Control Johnny Coupe: This remote control is great for little fingers and hands. Boys and girls love it. The car has lights and makes sounds. It moves in all directions. Available at Target for $12.99. Recommended for ages 2+
Discovery Kids Bubble Blower: Husband found this super cheap toy at CVS. The kids absolutely love it, and we haven't had any problems despite how cheap it is. The blower glows in the dark, and it is battery operated. I think it was $4 or $5. My age recommendation is 2+
Stomp Rocket: My boys have this, and it's a playgroup and party favorite! You can get it at Amazon or Walmart for about $13. Recommended for ages 3+ (but my 2 year old can handle it well).
Kid-O Free Form Magnatab: The magnetic stylus pulls up the beads so you can make an image. Available at Bed, Bath, & Beyond for $19.99. Recommended for ages 3+
Backyard Safari Binoculars: 5 x 30 "Crystal clear optics", adjustable, and waterproof. You can find it online at Amazon or Walgreens for $12. Recommended for ages 5+
Magic Jinn Animal: This little cat tries to guess what animal you are thinking of by asking you questions. It's almost always right! Rated one of the best toys in 2013. You can find it at Target for $10. Recommended for ages 6+
Crayola Marker Maker: Kids can customize up to 16 marker colors. You can find it on Amazon for under $17. Recommended for ages 6-15.
Let me know if you have a gift recommendation, and I may add it to the list. Happy (er) shopping! See more posts at: www.tiny-trots.com
