Hirschler Fleischer Partner Collin J. Hite Named 2015 "Leader in the Law" by Virginia Lawyers Weekly

Hirschler Fleischer announces that partner Collin J. Hite has been named to the 2015 class of "Leaders in the Law".

Hirschler Fleischer is pleased to announce that partner Collin J. Hite has been named to the 2015 class of “Leaders in the Law” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly, a publication of Virginia Lawyer Media. Now in its tenth year, the “Leaders in the Law” awards program recognizes lawyers across the commonwealth who are setting the standard for other lawyers in Virginia. “Leaders” are recognized for changing the law, serving the community, changing practice or improving Virginia’s justice system, among other accomplishments.

Upon joining Hirschler Fleischer in 2012, Hite formally launched the firm’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group, which assists policyholders in claims or disputes with their insurance carriers. His reputation as a “Leader” has been shaped by his many contributions to the profession and the legal community, including the reorganization of the Richmond Chapter of the Federal Bar Association; the preservation and publication of the rich history of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in From Marshall to Moussaoui: Federal Justice in the Eastern District of Virginia; service on the Virginia State Bar’s Third District Disciplinary Committee; and pro bono involvement with Legal Aid Justice Center’s JustChildren.

Hite and his fellow honorees will be celebrated at a reception on October 29 at the Science Museum of Virginia and will be profiled in a special publication distributed by Virginia Lawyers Weekly on November 2.
