WASHINGTON, DC -- Two and a half years after its arrival, it HomeGoods is leaving Georgetown, according to store employees. The national chain store offers affordable home decor.

HomeGoods shared the space with TJ Maxx; now that HomeGoods is leaving, TJ Maxx will expand into the space and take over the entire location at 3222 M St. at Georgetown Park.
Look for TJ Maxx to hold a grand “re-opening” on or about March 1, according to store employees.

For now, starting Tuesday, you can find bargains at HomeGoods merchandise until Jan. 31.
