Huge Sweetgreen Coming To Georgetown Late This Summer

Sweetgreen, founded by three Georgetown students in 2007, will have two Georgetown locations as of August.

GEORGETOWN, DC — The fast-casual, custom salad eatery Sweetgreen is opening a second Georgetown location that's three times bigger than the original, Eater DC reports.

The original spot is just 560 square feet and is currently undergoing renovation at 333 M St. NW. The new location will occupy 2,242 square feet, split between two floors and an outdoor patio, at 1044 Wisconsin Ave NW.

Sweetgreen was founded in 2007 by three Georgetown students. Ten years later, the now-nationwide chain has 25 stores within the DMV, Eater reports. The company describes itself as a destination for “fun, delicious food that’s both healthy for you and aligned with your values."
