DDOT Spokesperson, John Lisle, told Patch in an email, that his agency was making changes to the crosswalk to improve pedestrian safety. DDOT will install “bump-outs” on 35th Street with the goal of shortening the cross walk and creating a sharper radius to slow a turning driver.
