iTHAI TO HOLD PHILANTHROPIC PERCENTAGE NIGHTS TO BENEFIT URBAN LIGHT FOR FIRST WEEK OF JUNE

Select Menu Items' Proceeds Will Be Donated to Washington Based Non-Profit that Works to Rebuild the Lives of Boys in Thailand

Eat for a cause! iThai (Georgetown and Tyson’s Corner locations) is delighted to announce that this June it will launch support efforts for Urban Light- a non-profit organization founded by a Washingtonian to rebuild, restore and empower the lives of young boys in Thailand who are victims of sex trafficking and exploitation. During the first week of June, Wed. June 1 – Wed. June 8, iThai (both locations) will hold percentage nights to raise funds for Urban Light. Select dishes, including pineapple fried rice and mango sticky rice (pictured above), will be indicated on the menu as benefit items. Urban Light will receive 50 percent from each dish ordered.

To toast to a week of fundraising efforts, iThai-Georgetown will host an intimate happy hour with Urban Light board members and volunteers and regular customers. During the happy hour, iThai will present the donation to Urban Light principals and celebrate Urban Light’s mission to better Thailand.
