Junior League of Washington to Host 57th Annual Holiday Shopping Event

Annual fundraising event, A Capital Collection of Holiday Shops, begins Thursday, Nov. 5.

The Junior League of Washington’s annual fundraising event, A Capital Collection of Holiday Shops, begins on Thursday, Nov. 5, and lasts until Sunday, Nov. 8. Holiday Shops features more than 40 unique specialty boutiques from across the country and is one of the most sought out holiday shopping events in the nation’s capital.

Holiday Shops is more than a unique shopping experience, it is also one of the Junior League of Washington’s major fundraisers. Funds raised support the JLW’s ongoing efforts to improve the DC community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers and more than two dozen grants awarded annually to local nonprofits. Last year, the event raised over $140,000 in support of the Junior League’s work in the community.
