Pop superstar Justin Bieber announced that he’s going on a mega concert tour and DC is among the cities where he’ll be performing. Bieber is releasing a new album, “Purpose,” on Friday.

He’ll perform in DC on April 29 at the Verizon Center. He’ll be back in the area, July 7, playing in Baltimore. The 50-city tour begins March 9 in Seattle.
The tour will conclude on July 18, 2016 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Bieber’s single “What Do You Mean?” off the new album hit #1 on iTunes within five minutes of its release, he announced on his Web site.
