Kayaking on the Potomac River

Generation Conservation, a local volunteer group for The Nature Conservancy, is hosting a second kayaking trip on the Potomac River! We’ll enjoy a nice morning paddle, and participants
will have the chance to meet other nature enthusiasts and learn about
the Nature Conservancy’s work in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area,
particularly as it relates to the Potomac watershed.

When: Sunday, July 20th. We will meet at
9:00am to prepare for the trip, and will launch the boats at 9:30am. The
kayaking trip should last until around 11:30am.

Where: 3700 K Street, NW Washington, DC
20007. This is just past the Key Bridge Boathouse. At this location, K
Street and Water Street are synonymous; the location is under the
Whitehurst Freeway. This is the street closest to the water in
Georgetown.
