Lane Restrictions for Wisconsin Avenue Continue Today

Wisconsin Avenue resurfacing will continue Nov 13-30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The District Department of Transportation will continue resurfacing sections of Wisconsin Avenue, NW, focusing now on the section between Hall Place and Massachusetts Avenue, NW. Roadway resurfacing activities are part of the ongoing upgrade of Wisconsin Avenue.

Lane restrictions, starting Wednesday will be in place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

During work hours curbside parking will not be available, though residents and businesses will have access to all properties.

According to DDOT, "During the week of November 19 this work will take place Monday through Wednesday. Any outstanding work will be completed between November 26 and November 30, weather permitting"

According to the DDOT press release, the lane configuration will be:

  • 7 - 9:30 a.m.

Two southbound lanes and one northbound lane will be kept open.  

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

      One southbound and one northbound lane will be kept open.  

  • 3:30 - 6 p.m.

Two northbound lanes and one southbound lane will be kept open.
