Man Fatally Stabbed at Metro Station in DC: Reports

Man may have been stabbed during robbery at Red Line stop, according to some reports.

A man was fatally stabbed Saturday during a robbery at a Metro station in DC, according to several media reports.

The stabbing took place at the NoMa Gallaudet Metro station (see map) on the Metro’s Red Line, according to a report by WTOP.

D.C. police say they are are looking for a black man with dark brown complexion, according to a report by The Washington Post. The man was wearing a blue shirt with writing or a logo on the left side, black shoes, with blue jeans and a red bandana. The man was also wearing glasses and carrying a black and red backpack, according to the report.

The NoMa Galluadet Metro station is closed during the investigation. Metro trains are bypassing the station and shuttle buses are taking passengers to surrounding stations.
