Manager of 9:30 Club, Josh Burdette, Found Dead

Death being investigated as possible suicide.

Josh Burdette, the well-known 9:30 Club manager, crew chief and bouncer, has been found dead in his home in Kensington, MD, according to news reports.

Burdette, 37, was the face -- and arms -- of the V St. NW music venue on V Street NW, as recognizable as any musician who played there, with his tattooed arms, a horseshoe extending through his nostrils and his pierced ears stretched practically to his shoulders.

ABC7 and The Washington Post reported that his death is being investigated as a possible suicide.

Police say they found Burdette in his Kensington home in Montgomery County on Sunday at about 5:30 p.m.
