REMINDER: Mayor Announces DC Public Schools Schedule for Wednesday

WASHINGTON, DC -- Students stayed at home from DC public schools Tuesday, but they will be heading back to DC public schools Wednesday, according to an announcement Monday afternoon by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Surrounding jurisdictions, including Fairfax County, Falls Church City Public Schools, Alexandria City Public Schools and Arlington County Schools are closed Wednesday.

The entire metro DC area was buried under about 2 feet of snow after the blizzard that smacked the area Friday through late Saturday night.
