Mayor Announces Monday School Schedule
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser says the City is in "dig out" mode from the weekend's mega winter storm.

WASHINGTON, DC -- DC public schools will be closed Monday, due to the hazardous roadways after a megastorm that hit DC over the weekend, according to DC Mayor Muriel Bowser.
“Today we’re not only digging out but we’re asking all the residents and businesses to dig out as well,” she said. “Help us clear the sidewalks, we can get back to business when we clear all of our sidewalks.”
“A lot of volunteers have volunteered and have been dispatched to neighborhoods,” Bowser said. ”But you can help your neighbors too.”
