Metro Hours for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

Metro has announced the following holiday schedule:

Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve)

• Regular weekday service.
• Metrorail system will stay open two hours later than normal, until 2 a.m., to accommodate holiday revelers. The last train times vary by station; add two hours to weekday last train times.

Jan. 1 (New Year's Day)

• Metrorail and Metrobus operate on a Sunday schedule.
• Metrorail system open 7 a.m. until midnight.
• MetroAccess subscription trips cancelled.
