Metropolitan Police Department: Arrest Made In An Assault With A Dangerous Weapon Offense: 1400 Block Of K Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Thursday, November 25, 2021, in the 1400 block of K Street, Northwest.

At approximately 4:08 pm, the victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. The suspect then struck the victim with a chair. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was apprehended on scene by responding officers.

On Thursday, November 25, 2021, 26 year-old Vann Ray, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
