Need a Tough Workout? A Big Group Will Be Running Through Georgetown Thursday

Grab your running shows and head to M Street this Thursday evening if you want a great workout while touring Georgetown on foot.

Nike Georgetown is inviting the public to go on a group run through Georgetown, starting and finishing at the store at 3040 M Street NW, according to a statement. It's called NRC Home Run and it is hosted by Nike Run Club.

"Bring your friends and get ready to make new ones," the statement adds. "Pick your distance. Pick your pace. When you run with this crowd, there’s a place for everyone."

The meetup happens at 6:34 p.m. July 14, and you'll need to book in advance at the website here.

"Come join us for the Home Run, our mile-filled meet-up from Nike Georgetown," the statement notes. "Our routes all start and finish at Nike Georgetown. You can expect a progressively-paced, exceptionally social experience, so come out, bring a friend, and get ready for some fun mileage."
