Damon is reprising his role of Jason Bourne in this sequel (returning after leaving in 2007 because of creative differences, the Washington Post points out); this will make the fifth installment of the spy thriller series. The film is expected to be released on July 29, 2016.
A casting call for the production of “Bourne 5” as they’re currently calling the movie, was recently announced by the D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development.
