Seinfeld's 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' Debuts Wednesday with President Obama
Jerry Seinfeld teases audience with release Monday of trailer for seventh season of online show.

Jerry Seinfeld’s next season of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” his online show where he picks up comedians to go chat over coffee, after picking them up in exotic cars? President Barack Obama will be a guest this season, kicking off the first show Wednesday at 11:30 p.m., the show announced Monday.

A description on show sponsor Crackle’s YouTube channel notes: “Jerry is back and he’s riding with President Barack Obama. The Commander in Chief kicks off Season 7. Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Kathleen Madigan and Sebastian Maniscalco also guest star.”
Seinfeld alluded to the big news Monday on Twitter:
“This was an opportunity to pull back the curtain for Americans on life in the White House,” the White House said in a statement. “The president and Jerry had a unique, candid conversation that focused largely on the lighter side of the presidency.”
The trailer for the season, released Monday, ends with a car driving up to the White House and a phone conversation with Seinfeld asking if he can speak to the president.
