Registration Begins Today for National Zoo Summer Camp

Snow is on the ground now but summer will be here before you know it. The National Zoo’s Summer Safari camp registration starts today for some FONZ members.

Safari campers will explore the lives, habitats, and conservation of animals around the world. Week-long sessions include hands-on activities, lessons, craft projects, science experiments, and walks through the zoo (but no direct contact with animals). Summer Safari Day Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.

NEW in 2015: American Camp Association policy updates require that the Zoo collect the following information at the time of registration. Families should have this information available at the time of registration.

REGISTRATION DATES

• FONZ Premier Plus Registration begins on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m.
• All FONZ Member Registration begins on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.
• Registration for non-members begins on February 10 at 10 a.m.
