Police Find Body in Georgetown: Reports
The body was found along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal.

A man's body was found along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal in downtown Georgetown Tuesday morning, according to reports.
NBC Washington reported that the body was found at around 8 a.m. in the 100 block of Canal Street NW. Part of 31st Street NW has been closed as police investigate.
The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal, which was once a lifeline for Potomac River communities as a vital highway for coal, lumber and agriculture products, cuts right through the heart of Georgetown.
