Rosewood Hotel Opens Up Spectacular Rooftop to the Public in Georgetown
The roof had been closed to anyone but hotel guests, but not anymore.

It's summertime, and there are few things better than dining al fresco on a rooftop in Georgetown during these coming months -- and now you can do that at one of the most popular rooftops in town.
The Rosewood Washington D.C. hotel is now opening its rooftop to the public, a practice it started last week, according to a Washington Business Journal report.
When the building was known as the Capella hotel, management would only allow hotel guests up there. But Rosewood purchased the hotel for $65 million earlier this year, so local diners and drinkers looking for some fresh air can rejoice.

You'll be able to choose from a light rooftop menu as well as order some items from the hotel's Grill Room restaurant. It will also have a list of cocktails to savor as you gaze over the city landscape with the sun setting.
The Rosewood is located along Waters Alley right along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal near 31st Street.
