Huge Rat Found In DC Will Give You Nightmares (Photo)

WASHINGTON, DC — We hope you're not eating, because this rat we're about to show you will probably affect your appetite.

According to Popville, a "monster rat" was found Friday night on U Street. And judging by the photo below, that seems like an apt description.

And a few commenters chimed in to say it's not even that unusual.

"I've seen two of them - both times in the ground floor garbage rooms of the two really nice large quite-old expensive condo buildings I've lived in," remarked commenter Anon. "Big as a quite-large, fat cat. Shocking to see, but given my experience, I'm guessing there are a lot of them around."
