Smaller Panda Cub Has Died, National Zoo Reports

The smaller of the twin Giant Panda cubs born Saturday at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. has died, the Zoo reports this afternoon on social media via Twitter:

“We are sad to report that the smaller of the two panda cubs has died. We will continue to provide updates on social media w/ #Pandastory.”
