Support Beagle Freedom Project

Celebrate with DC Beagles! Come raise awareness and funds for Beagle Freedom Project at Lush Cosmetics in Georgetown.

It’s DC Beagles’ 10 year anniversary!! Come celebrate by joining DC Beagles on March 26. LUSH Cosmetics Georgetown will host DC Beagles and Beagle Freedom Project’s DC7 to raise awareness and funds for Beagle Freedom Project, a non-profit dedicated to saving as many beagles and other animals from laboratories as possible.

In 2007, Lush invented a beautiful hand and body lotion called Charity Pot. 100% of the purchase price (every single penny minus the taxes) goes towards supporting humanitarian, environmental and animal rights causes locally and around the world. Since its launch, Charity Pot has donated more than $10,000,000 to 850+ grassroots charities in 42 countries – including Beagle Freedom Project. Lush also believes in buying ingredients only from companies that do not commission tests on animals and in testing our products on humans. Lush’s Charity Pots will feature Beagle Freedom Project labels on them that day and Red, White & Beagle t-shirts will be available for sale!

Everyone is welcome to come by and join us, even if you don’t have a beagle in tow. DC Beagles and Beagle Freedom Project’s DC7 will meet from 2-3 and then if the weather is nice we can all take a walk with our beagles (and honorary beagles) on the C&O Canal Towpath, just one block from the Lush store. Everyone is welcome!
