WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend — including National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, DC Wine Fest, Record Store Day, Spring Break at Frying Pan Farm Park, and DC Pizza and Whiskey Fest.

If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, April 13 or Sunday, April 14, you should plan accordingly. Certain lines will be single-tracking. Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

From 10 p.m. to close, Red Line trains will single-track between Silver Spring and Forest Glen due to rail and fastener renewal.

As for the Silver Line, trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and New Carrollton after 10 p.m. Riders traveling to and from Benning Road, Capitol Heights, Addison Road, Morgan Boulevard, or Largo Town Center should take the Blue Line and transfer to the Silver Line at Rosslyn.

Blue Line trains will single-track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road after 10 p.m.

From 10 p.m. to close, Green Line trains will single-track between Southern Avenue and Anacostia.

Orange and Yellow Line trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
