Vote For Favorite Holiday Decorations At Georgetown Businesses

GEORGETOWN, DC — Voting opens Friday afternoon in the Georgetown Holiday Window & Streatery Competition that runs through Dec. 31. This year’s theme is Silver Linings, prompting businesses to find festive and creative ways to express the "hope and positivity they’ve found in the midst of a challenging year."

Participating windows and streateries will be decorated throughout December for the contest. People can vote in person via QR code or online via Facebook for their favorite display. Cash prizes will be awarded along with a "best in show" prize awarded by a panel of judges. Voters have the chance to win $100, too.

A competition map and voting will be available Friday afternoon at Holidays in Georgetown so people can view a list of participants and start casting votes.
