Washington Harbour Ice Skating Rink Opens on Georgetown Waterfront

D.C.’s largest outdoor ice skating venue opens this weekend!

Located at 3050 K Street NW, the Washington Harbour Ice Skating Rink will open at noon Saturday.

The 11.800-square-foot rink takes the place of a fountain through March.

Admission to the ice skating rink is $10 for adults and $9 for children ages 11 and younger as well as for seniors and military. Skates are available for $5.

The Washington Harbour Ice Rink will be open every day during the following hours:

• Monday & Tuesday: Noon to 7 p.m.
• Wednesday & Thursday: Noon to 9 p.m.
• Friday: Noon to 10 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sunday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ice rink holiday hours go as followed:

• Nov. 27: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Nov. 28: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Dec. 4: open to the public starting at 7 p.m.
• Dec. 23: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Dec. 24: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Dec. 25: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Dec. 26: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Dec. 29: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Dec. 30: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Dec. 31: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Jan. 1: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Jan. 2: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Jan. 19: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Feb. 16: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Themed and special skating nights include:

• Cartoon Skate: 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays
• Rock n Skate: 8 to 10 p.m. Saturdays
• 2 for 1 Tuesdays: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays
• College Night: 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays (save $2 with college ID)

Private events are available from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday to Tuesday.
