WATCH: Police Release Video of 'Person of Interest' in Quadruple Homicide
Police say mom, dad, son and housekeeper were found dead Thursday in fire at mansion in northwest DC.
The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department released a surveillance video Saturday night of a “person of interest” in the investigation into a quadruple homicide that took place Thursday in the 3200 block of Woodland Drive NW.
Police said Friday the four people were found in a fire that was “intentionally set.” Police identified the deceased as Savvas Savopoulos, 46, and his wife, Amy, 47, their 10-year-old son Philip and housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa, 57, of Silver Spring, Md.
Investigators seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the person of interest captured by a surveillance camera, police said. The person in the video appears to be wearing a hooded sweatshirt and is carrying something. The video also includes an image of the family’s blue Porsche. Police are hoping to hear from anyone who saw the Porsche on Thursday.
