Watergate Building Seeks Tenant
Developer Penzance has been renovating the building and is now seeking a tenant

One of the Watergate buildings at 2600 Virginia Ave. is seeking a tenant to lease up to 100,000 square feet, according to GlobeSt.com.
Developer Penzance acquired the property at the end of last year and has pour millions of dollars into renovating the famed property, GlobeSt.com reports.
The "premier" office space boasts a location on the Potomac River and proximity to Georgetown.

The Watergate office building recently played host to a 40th anniversary party for the Washington Post, according to City Biz Real Estate. The party commemorated the famous break-in and the Post's series of investigative articles that ultimately brought down a president.
"The Watergate Office Building has a unique place in history and we are thrilled to be able to make it available for this historic event," Matt Pacinelli, senior vice president for leasing at Penzance, told City Biz Real Estate.

The lease rate is in the mid $40s per square foot, GlobeSt. reports.
