Wawa To Open Second DC Location In Georgetown On Dec. 20
Wawa, the convenience store chain with a cult-like following, is coming to Georgetown on Dec. 20.

GEORGETOWN, DC — Wawa lovers rejoice: the popular convenience store chain is coming to Georgetown. This will be D.C.'s second Wawa, after the first opened downtown in December of 2017.
The grand-opening ceremony will be held Thursday at 1222 Wisconsin Ave. NW and will feature free coffee, food samples, and a Georgetown University-inspired beverage. The drink — dubbed the Bulldog Double Shot — is a latte with sweet and salted caramel, a double shot of espresso, whipped cream, and blue and silver sprinkles. The Bulldog Double Shot will be available at Georgetown's location for three months.
Wawa says that the first 200 people at the store at 8 a.m. will get a free t-shirt. Free coffee will also be available for customers through the weekend.
