Filomena Ristorante

Filomena is a popular Italian restaurant on Wisconsin Avenue. As soon as you enter, you'll see two women rolling fresh pasta. The quirky yet admirable decorations throughout Filomena (pictured below) makes it a favored Valentine's Day spot. We recommend the Linguine Cardinale, with their signature Cardinale sauce and large chunks of lobster. Make a reservation online here. Tip: The portions are huge, and you can definitely split an entrée between two people.

Zannchi

If you're looking for a more relaxed holiday, check out the new Korean restaurant Zannchi. While it has a more low-key vibe, Zannchi is still great for a date. The restaurant is dimly lit with beautiful hanging ceiling lights, and the brick walls make the atmosphere more upscale than your typical Korean restaurant (and a bit more expensive.) The food is phenomenal, from the bulgogi to the dumplings and hot stone rice bowls.

Chez Billy Sud

Chez Billy Sud is a beloved Georgetown gem and is regularly recognized as one of the "cutest" restaurants in the district. As soon as you walk in, it feels as if you're about to enjoy a meal in a small French home. The inside is intimate with subtle music that doesn't drown out conversation, and the servers are always friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. Chez Billy Sud has an extensive wine and food list. We recommend the butternut squash soup, duck a l'orange and pan roasted trout. Make reservations online here.
