Woman Sexually Assaulted After Mistaking Car for Uber Service: Police
Police say a woman got into a car she thought was an Uber car Saturday and was sexually assaulted at knifepoint.

DC Police say a woman was sexually assaulted Saturday after mistaking a car for an Uber car.
DC Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in connection with the sexual assault that occurred in the 3500 block of Macomb Street NW (see map below).
On Saturday, between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m., police say a woman entered a four-door silver sedan, which she mistook as an Uber car. After she got in the car, police say the driver produced a knife and sexually assaulted the woman. She was able to escape without further injury, police said.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man in his early 30s, with black curly hair, according to police.
