1 Person Injured In Southeast Washington Apartment Fire
One person suffered from non-life-threatening injuries in an apartment fire in Southeast Washington Monday night.

WASHINGTON, DC — One person was injured in an apartment fire in Southeast Washington Monday night, DC Fire and EMS officials said.
DC Fire crews responded to the fire on the 400 block of Xenia St., SE. at around 8 p.m. Officials said the fire broke out on the first floor of an apartment building in the area, causing heavy smoke on all three floors of the building.
One person was injured in front of the building, officials said. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another person was evaluated for injuries and released at the scene.
