$10K Reward Offered For Identity Of Park Service Arson Suspect

ATF and D.C. Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect they say set fire to a National Park Service building on May 31.

WASHINGTON, DC — The ATF and the D.C. Arson and Explosives Task Force of the Metropolitan Police Department are offering a $10,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of a suspect wanted in connection with the May 31 arson fire to a National Park Service building in Lafayette Park, according to a police release.

Police say that the suspect forced his way into the building located in Lafayette Park near the White House around 10 p.m., and set the building on fire.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call the ATF tip line at 1-888-283-3473 or MPD at 202-727-9099. Information can also be sent to ATFTips@aft.gov.
