Northeast Man Faces 1st Degree Murder Charge In Fatal Shooting Of Pamela Thomas

WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. homicide detectives arrested 22 year-old Dion Lee, of Northeast on Friday and charged him with first degree murder while armed in the fatal shooting of 54-year-old Pamela Thomas of Northeast, according to a police report.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department discovered Thomas around 3:06 p.m., on Feb. 9, inside a vehicle in the 500 block of Division Avenue, Northeast. She was suffering an apparent gunshot wound.

Thomas was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries, but she later died.

Lee was arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force on Friday.

MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District. The Washington Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has partnered with MPD to offer an additional $15,000, bringing the total reward for this case up to $40,000.
