2 Child Sex Trafficking Arrests Made By FBI, DC Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division and special agents from FBI’s Washington Field Office, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force arrested two men in connection with a sex trafficking of children offenses that took place in the District, according to a police release.

Detectives determined between that June 30 and Aug. 26, the two men knowingly recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, and maintained a relationship with a child for commercial sex acts, according to police.

Police arrested a 29-year-old man, of Southeast, on Sept. 30, and charged him with sex trafficking of children.

Acting on a U.S. District Court arrest warrant, police arrested James Coleman, 24, on Thursday, and charged him with sex trafficking of children.

The Arlington County Police Department assisted in the investigation of this case.
