2 DC Spots Among 20 Best New Attractions In USA: USA Today
Art gallery Artechouse and the Museum of the Bible, both in Southwest, have earned nominations.

WASHINGTON, DC -- USA Today is asking readers to rank the best new attractions in the country, and among the 20 spots to be nominated were D.C.'s own Artechouse and the Museum of the Bible.
"From waterparks and theme parks to museums and performance spaces, travelers were treated to a host of new attractions in 2017," USA Today's 10Best website states. "With the help of a panel of travel experts, we combed the country for the best new attractions of the year, and now we need you to help us crown the winner."
Artechouse, located at 1238 Maryland Avenue SW, is an art gallery that is "at the crossroads of art, science, and technology," according to their website.

The Museum of the Bible is located nearby at 400 4th Street SW. It describes itself as an "innovative, global, educational institution whose purpose is to invite all people to engage with the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible."
10Best visitors can vote once per day for their favorite attraction until voting ends Jan. 1, and the 10 winning attractions will be announced Jan. 5.

As of Monday morning, Artechouse and the Museum of the Bible were back-to-back in early voting at 8th and 9th place, respectively.
