2 Suspects Sought In Fort Dupont Shooting

D.C. Police are asking the public's help in locating two suspects involved in a Sunday morning shooting incident in Fort Dupont.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sixth District are asking for the public's help in locating two suspects in connection with a shooting incident that took place Sunday morning in Fort Dupont, according to a crime report.

Around 10:35 a.m., the victim was in his vehicle in the 200 block of 37th Street, S.E., when two suspects appeared and began shooting at him. The suspects fled the scene and no injuries were reported.

MPD released photos of the suspects that were captured by a nearby surveillance camera.

Police ask anyone who can identify the individuals in the photos or has information about the incident to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411. MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone who has committed a violent crime in the District.
