2 Suspects Wanted In Unarmed Carjacking: DC Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sixth District are asking the public's help in identifying two men wanted in connection with an unarmed carjacking that took place Friday afternoon near the Northeast Boundary of the District, according to a police release.

Around 12:27 p.m, the two men approached the victim in the 6200 block of Dix Street, N.E. After assaulting the victim, they fled the scene in the victim's vehicle.

MPD released photos and a video of the suspects captured on a surveillance camera in the area. Police ask anyone with information about the identity or location of the suspects, or information about this case to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
