2016 IMF-World Bank Meeting Means Road Closures in D.C. This Week
Police will be closing down streets in downtown for a couple days this weekend.

Thousands of government officials, journalists, academics and others will be descending on Washington, D.C. this week for the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank -- and that means road closures.
The Metropolitan Police Department will shut down 19th Street NW from Pennsylvania Avenue to G Street, as well as H Street NW from 20th Street to Pennsylvania Avenue starting at 5:30 p.m. on April 15 and extending until 10 p.m. April 17.
"Motorists traveling in the area of this event may experience delays and should consider alternative routes, if possible," police said in a statement.
