2016 Peak Bloom for Cherry Blossoms This Week; Here's Where to Dine

The National Cherry Blossom Festival has put together a list of 40 restaurants for its "Cherry Picks" program.

We're just one day away from the start of the 2016 Peak Bloom of the cherry blossoms, and with temperatures warming up again, it's the perfect time to schedule a day out in the city -- fortunately for hungry sightseers, the National Cherry Blossom Festival has a list of restaurants that would pair nicely with a day out.

The 2016 Peak Bloom is now predicted to start either Wednesday or Thursday -- that's pretty early, considering the average peak bloom date is April 4. We're already a couple weeks ahead of schedule compared to last year.

So if you want to experience the cherry blossoms in all their glory, you'd better head out soon. But where should you eat after a long day of walking among the beautiful, brilliant pink blossoms? The National Cherry Blossom Festival has put together its 13th annual list of "Cherry Picks" restaurants for you to choose from.
