5 DC Restaurants Named Best Spots to Brunch in the United States
The five local spots were all chosen as among the 100 best brunch offerings in the country.

D.C. restaurants cleaned up in a recent list ranking the best brunch spots in the nation, with five District restaurants making the grade.
Farmers Fishers Bakers, Founding Farmers, Georgia Brown's, Le Diplomate and Tabard Inn were all included on OpenTable.com's 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America list, which is based on more than 5 million diner reviews on the site at more than 20,000 restaurants nationwide.
Considering a whopping 21 states didn't have any restaurants on the list, that's pretty impressive. D.C., Maryland and Virginia dominated the list, with a combined total of 17 of the 100 restaurants.
