5 Rescued From Metro Elevator In DC (Photos)
The elevator stalled 40 feet below the ground on Sunday.

WASHINGTON, DC -- D.C. firefighters rescued five people stuck in a stalled elevator at the Tenleytown Metro station on Sunday.
The elevator was stalled 40 feet below the ground, but above the station level, according to a tweet from D.C. Fire and EMS.
Firefighters were able to successfully remove all five, who were fine with no medical issues.
