6 Inches Of Snow Possible In DC Area: Report
While we're more likely to get in the range of 1-3 inches, it's possible we could get more, according to one forecast.

It now looks like we will definitely get some snow accumulation Saturday morning, although it's still an open question as to how much the final total will be. One intriguing forecast says that it's possible we'll get half a foot -- although it's just as likely that we'll get next to nothing.
The Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang just released a new snowfall forecast for the D.C. area on Saturday, and they're predicting about 1 to 3 inches for the D.C. area.
However, they say there's a 20 percent chance for a "boom," in which case we'd get 3-6 inches of snow. There's just as strong of a chance for a "bust," which would be a dusting to 1 inch of snow.
