7 New Deaths From Coronavirus In DC; Positive Cases Top 4,600
D.C. Health reported 335 new cases of the new coronavirus, bringing the District's total number of confirmed positive cases to 4,638.
WASHINGTON, DC — The D.C. Health Department confirmed 7 new deaths Friday due to COVID-19, the illness associated with the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the District to 231. D.C. Health also confirmed 335 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the overall total to 4,638.
The new deaths in the District are described as:
- 55-year-old male
- 60-year-old male
- 71-year-old male
- 74-year-old female
- 77-year-old female
- 81-year-old female
- 84-year-old male
D.C. Health has confirmed 21,135 District residents have been tested for the coronavirus and 666 have recovered.
