AG Jeff Sessions Laughs At 'Lock Her Up' Chant (Video)

The nation's top law enforcement officer was amused by the chant by high schoolers on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions laughed when a group of conservative high school students chanted "lock her up" Tuesday, and even repeated the phrase himself.

The chant started after Sessions, who was delivering remarks at a conservative group's high school leadership summit, slammed universities for "coddling" students, according to a Business Insider report.

Video (embedded below) shows Sessions chuckling at the chant and then repeating the phrase -- which refers to the belief by many on the right that 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be in jail.

While conservatives have long associated Hillary Clinton with a range of crimes from murder to corruption, the chant is most closely associated with her use of a private email server. The FBI concluded that her use of the server was irresponsible, but not worthy of criminal charges.
