Alexandria Man Charged In DC Child Sex Trafficking Case: Police

D.C. Police arrested a Virginia man Tuesday night in connection with a child sex trafficking offense.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division – Internet Crimes Against Children Branch arrested a Virginia man Tuesday in connection with sex trafficking of children offense, according to a police release.

The suspect traveled around 8:45 p.m., to a location in D.C., after he had arranged a sexual act with a child in exchange for money, according to MPD. When the suspect arrived, he was apprehended by police without incident.

MPD arrested Tyrone Rich, 48, of Alexandria, Virginia, and charged him with sex trafficking of children.
