Alexandria Man Stabbed To Death In DC: Police

D.C. Police are looking for the person responsible for the fatal stabbing of an Alexandria man Wednesday in Chinatown.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are looking for the person responsible for the stabbing death Wednesday of Hassan Jalloh, 20, of Alexandria, in Chinatown, according to a police release.

Officers from the First District responded around 6:30 p.m., to the 600 block of I St., N.W., for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found Jalloh unconscious, unresponsive, and suffering from multiple stab wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS transported Jalloh to a nearby hospital for treatment, but all live-saving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call 202-727-9099 or send an anonymous text message to 50411. MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for a homicide in the District.
