Armed Carjacking Suspects Caught On Camera: Updated

Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a group of individuals in connection with an armed carjacking.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the First District are asking the public's help in identifying and locating suspects in connection with an armed carjacking that took place Saturday night in the Capitol Riverfront area, according to a release.

Around 5:54 p.m., the victim was sitting in his vehicle in the 1000 block of 4th Street, S.E., when the suspects approached him and brandished a gun. The victim exited his vehicle, and the suspects left the scene in his vehicle.

MPD released photos of the suspects that were captured on a nearby surveillance camera.

Police ask anyone with information about these individuals in the photos to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to the MPD's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for any violent crime in the District.
